The Stark Irony: How MAGA Voters Support Policies that Endanger Their Own Lives

Mark Hayes (00:01.078)
All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. We are live, two men in black and white, an honest conversation. All right, why is the dignified transfer of US soldiers, US heroes, being sullied by an undignified president? I don't know. We've we've got questions. why is the throat being withheld? And why can't we see what was in Nolan Wells' stomach and lungs at the time of his death?

And why does he have that huge red spot at the base of his skull? And also, we are trying to figure out why MAGA is okay with dying and the policies that are killing them. Let's dig deeper. Brockin Ellis joins me now with a closer look at what's happening in the world that we live in these days. It is just too crazy. President Trump can't go anywhere without making it a

About himself. He can't get off the stage at the World Cup. He ruined Spain's celebration, but they, you know, adobied and acrobated him out of there. And then, you know, thank goodness for Photoshop. And now he's at the dignified transfer of the bodies of these soldiers saying they all died making sure that Iran doesn't get a nuclear weapon. And they said that.

Why is he lying on these soldiers, Bri? It's just ridiculous. Come on.

Brock Ganeles (01:38.013)
Because he doesn't care about them. Right? They're just props as a part of his narrative and his his lies. What I always struggle with and frustrates me is how any former military member s in any way still supports Trump as a commander in chief. He obviously has shown total disregard for the troops.

Mark Hayes (01:39.915)
No, he doesn't.

Mark Hayes (01:59.886)
It's ridiculous.

Mark Hayes (02:06.177)
Mm-hmm.

Brock Ganeles (02:06.244)
in every single situation, in how they're used, in how they die, and how we won't even report on their injuries and we downplay any negatives that go on out there in the field to his embarrassment at Arlington Cemetery over and over again. I mean the guy's a draft dodger. He doesn't care about any other people.

Our military and soldiers just are just pawns as a part of his self aggrandizement and his narcissism. So I just don't understand why anyone el why any ex

military can hang on to support of Trump. He doesn't care about them. Cutting the VA so they get less support when they come home, which has already been terrible, right? Our support for the troops has been an embarrassment and you know, no matter which party is in power. But he's made it he's made it even worse to target that as part of doji cuts. Right? It's another place that we need to save money, which is on the care of the troops when they come home.

Mark Hayes (02:59.649)
Yeah. Yep.

Brock Ganeles (03:16.922)
And so yesterday was just an I mean at least I mean for his first term he never showed up at Dover Air Force Base to honor any of the fallen troops. Now he's showing up and saying asinine shit. I don't know which is worse, but but please stop hanging on to the belief that this person is any kind of leader of our society. And I just wish the military would talk out more so that we know.

When it comes time to protest and we're on the streets and Trump goes to call martial law that our military will not support him. We as the citizens wanna know that before we hit the streets. Cause we want to know if we're gonna be at war with our own military or if our military's gonna have our back.

Mark Hayes (03:59.242)
Right. Right.

Mark Hayes (04:05.491)
Right. And we need to know that sooner rather than later. because that's that's the only thing we could be moving toward, Brock. Why would they continue to put forth these asinine policies? We're talking about, you know, the the prescription program, making the cost of medication even higher.

You've already, you know, decimated jobs. We got AI coming. We gotta deal with that. It's already getting harder and harder to make a decent living in America. And now you're gonna and and you continue to make things more expensive. Food and gas are already ridiculous, and now you want to make medications ridiculous too, so the pharmaceutical companies can make a shit ton of money. I mean, why is MAGO okay with this?

Brock Ganeles (04:54.746)
I don't understand what where how MAG is hanging on with Trump. We have citizens all over the country fighting for the absolute basic necessities of life. Right? Community to community, there are these town halls slash knife fights going on against these data center construction because communities that already are struggling don't want, you know, a billionaire.

Mark Hayes (05:13.334)
Right.

Right.

Mark Hayes (05:21.121)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (05:24.434)
To drop a, you know, a chemical fucking snake pit into their backyard, knowing it's gonna soak up so much of their water resources, probably contaminate their drinking water, and raise the air temperature in their vicinity, right? Just flat out the basics of life are gonna be made miserable. And MAG is fighting for that, those scraps on the table, and it's only happening.

Because they voted in all these crazy white supremacist racists who are just going to take from them because they think that these white Americans will vote for them no matter what, no matter how bad their life gets, that they're still gonna vote for them versus those other guys who maybe will accept multicultural, multiracial America.

Mark Hayes (06:18.122)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (06:22.77)
And they can't even let crack the door open for that possibility. So instead they're in their local town halls fighting tooth and nail to keep their water clean. And

Mark Hayes (06:35.243)
All right.

Brock Ganeles (06:36.306)
I mean that's what's going on in America, right? That's the these are the big knife fights that are gone. These are the people who are also just scrappy scratching along just to put food on their table and to fill their gas and to fill their gas tanks. And now they're fighting just to keep their water clean and keep fucking huge data centers from sucking up all the resources that they thought were their shared resources because they were taxpayers.

Mark Hayes (06:45.824)
Right. Make it make sense.

Right.

Mark Hayes (07:00.469)
Right. It it doesn't make any sense at all. it's sad and I just don't understand how the racism outweighs, you know, your own mortality. it will continue to baffle me, and historians through the end of time, I'm certain. I am certain because I mean, you know

If if people want to honestly answer the question, they're okay with Steven Miller. They're okay with Steve Bannon having influence. They're okay with all with the total shit show. They're okay with January 6th.

Brock Ganeles (07:42.589)
Mark, I spent some time out in that proverbial Iowa diner. We hadn't talked about that. I spent the week in Iowa last week. Boy, was it hot. But I know it was hot in New York and air quality was terrible throughout the Northeast. You know, tornad random tornadoes were coming in. Even when it rained, it became like an ash rain because the rain was just pulling down the pollution and causing like ash on the ground. Like it's a basically an ecological fucking mess.

'Cause those wildfires in Canada, because of climate change. But while I'm in Iowa, I kinda learned that East Iowa is very different than West Iowa. East Iowa's more purple than West Iowa. I was spending my time in East Iowa. And and the topics of what people are talking about in Iowa was unbelievable to me. Number one, first topic, is that they have the worst drinking water in America.

Which led to number two, which was every time you turn on the TV, every local local news story was about a fight over data centers. Being pushed through in local communities without studies being done. Number three, which surprised me, I had no idea about, is that Iowa's number two number two in the country in cancer. And that's because industrial farming has dropped so many chemicals into their soil that they're all convinced it's from the food.

Mark Hayes (08:41.975)
Huh.

Brock Ganeles (09:01.926)
And the water that they drink locally and they have all these cancer rates. So East Islands that are more purple are frustrated with West Islands who are MAGA to the hilt because all these MAGA policies have made the quality of life in that state untenable for so many of them. In fact, there's now even knife fights between the family fire farmers who are getting squeezed out and like the Koch brothers-backed big farmers that

Mark Hayes (09:05.997)
Makes sense.

Mark Hayes (09:12.961)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (09:29.764)
I've really polluted the whole state. So I heard all these arguments and I was amazed that this was these were the discussions going on in Iowa. Right? Like these are like really basic quality of life things. But the whole time as I heard all these discussions going on around me, I was thinking to myself, probably should have gotten some arguments, said, but you voted for fucking Chuck Grassley six times as a senator, and you voted for Joni Ernst multiple times.

Mark Hayes (09:38.075)
Mm-hmm.

Brock Ganeles (09:57.713)
And you voted for that Nazi Stephen King to be a congressman for what 10, 12 years. I know he was Western Iowa, not Eastern, but Iowa, this is what you voted for. You're NAGA. You've supported this for decades, maybe centuries. You got exactly what you wanted and voted for. And now that your quality of life is just disintegrating front of your eyes, will you and can you?

Mark Hayes (10:03.414)
Right.

Mark Hayes (10:09.184)
Right.

Mark Hayes (10:15.489)
You got what you wanted.

Brock Ganeles (10:27.632)
Make the switch and actually vote against MAGA and change your representatives. It's supposedly a 50-50 call there for both governor and for I think Senate seats and some of these congressional seats. But I spent the week there, I went away. I'm like, I'm you know, I observe it, I hear the the problems, but I just are we really gonna s ever see a red state flip over?

Mark Hayes (10:43.98)
Mm.

Brock Ganeles (10:57.52)
And vote differently? I get it, Kentucky has a Democratic governor, Wisconsin's maybe had Democratic governors once in a while. I look at El I looked at Iowa after spending a week there as sort of a bellwether of can this MAGA white supremacy movement, can these people go into a voting booth and pull a different lever? I do you think so, Mark? I don't think so.

Mark Hayes (11:23.501)
Tough, tough. I I I can't call that, bro. I can't imagine that they would. there's nothing that seems to lend itself you know, to that conclusion. I just I just don't see it. I think they like their race racism too much. I think they think they're losing something. I mean they're they've been convinced that their identity will suffer if they vote blue.

Brock Ganeles (11:52.499)
Yeah. Yeah. 'Cause Iowa is Texas, is Florida, is Missouri, right? There you know, I just kinda observed you know, I got out of my little bubble and was in a red state for a week and observed something different. But it's the same dynamics going in these other states. I think there was just a survey out or some sort of study done on the ten worst states to live in in America. And they and they were all red states. I think Texas was number two, I'm not sure who number one was, but we know what they are. They're right through that strip.

Mark Hayes (11:56.789)
Yep. Sure.

Mark Hayes (12:14.555)
yeah.

Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah, that's Southern Strip, you know, and including Mississippi, you know, Georgia, Mississippi, North South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee. I mean, it's it's all I mean, Tennessee is right up there. th they were just, you know, voted one of the worst places to live. you know, but a again.

Look who represents them. Right? You know, Marsha Blackburn, right? She ain't doing anything for anybody except herself. and it's very, very rural. So, you know what? You got you got Memphis that the rest of Tennessee looks down upon because of its brownness and blackness. And you got Nashville. Those are your only two real, you know, city centers, urban areas throughout the state.

Brock Ganeles (13:16.744)
But you're using the word rural, you know, synonymous with white. That the it's rural white and therefore they have like, you know, whatever, their small town values and their real America sense. And that's what ultimately dictates their decisions on who they want representing them. And then those representatives are lying in their own pockets and voting in a way that's what's best for the one percent.

Mark Hayes (13:22.101)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (13:32.459)
Yeah.

Brock Ganeles (13:46.633)
But they throw them a whole bunch of bones about, you know, having their Second Amendment rights and also making sure there's a social order that works for them. Even if it means drinking shitty water and dying of cancer, at least in their shortened lifespan, they got to feel like they were the dominant species.

Mark Hayes (14:07.287)
Yeah. Yeah. And that's all that really matters, apparently, because you know, you can't you y I mean, you can lead them to water, but you can't make think. And that's the problem here. you know, speaking of water, the latest out of the Nolan Wells controversial death, they're withholding the throat.

The Stacy Turner, this medical examiner in Mississippi. And so the private autopsy was released today by at least portions of it by Ben Crump. And you know, poor Nolan Wells' parents had to sit through the air and listen to that. And you know, there was an audible gasp in the room when they talked about the throat and this.

This redness at the base of the skull. and and they don't have the throat, and they don't have the neck, they don't have the lungs, or I believe the stomach. So we don't know what was in his stomach, which would have given us a good indication of you know when he had last eaten, right? When he was last alive.

And we don't have the lungs, which would have given us an indication of was there water in his lungs? Did he drown? And we don't have the throat. So we don't know if his neck was broken. We don't know if he was forced under. and we don't know what all this redness is from. That you know, could have been, you know, blunt force. So

You know, add that up, Brock with the GPS info, right? The fact that he was found face down in the water with a shirt on. All the pictures we've seen he had no shirt on. The Cajun Navy called him fully clothed. So bit by bit the stories are starting to unravel. And

Brock Ganeles (16:23.218)
Yeah, why would he why would he be out swimming with his shirt on? Why d why did the kids call and say that the boat was taking on water and they needed a tow, but then backtrack from that? Like there's already just such obvious inconsistencies and lies in the story that I mean, it's a tr a true crime rolling out in front of us. But Mississippi authorities do not seem to want to investigate it. And in fact they appear to be stonewalling the information.

Mark Hayes (16:44.109)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (16:53.286)
Right in front of us. They're doing it in broad daylight, right in our face. They're basically saying F you to sane America who wants to see some sort of investigation, but they're saying fuck you, we're not doing it. We're not letting our kids, you know, get caught up in this. It was just a black kid. Doesn't really matter. Everybody turn your attention to something else. Will America let them do that?

Mark Hayes (17:03.82)
Right.

Mark Hayes (17:20.531)
Right. Right.

Yeah. I hope not. Nancy Grace has entered the chat as you mentioned yesterday. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Remember Nancy Nancy Grace was on the case. John Bonnet Ramsey, Natalie Holloway. what's the Florida girl? Casey Anthony. She made sure Casey Anthony went to jail pretty much. Or did she go to Yeah, she's out now. She's out. You know another one?

Brock Ganeles (17:42.142)
JC Anthony.

Brock Ganeles (17:50.344)
She is out now.

Mark Hayes (17:53.25)
That Nancy Grace was hot on the trail of Scott Peterson and Lacey Peterson. Remember that case? And you know, there's an interesting documentary on Netflix about the other Lacey Peterson, a brown pregnant woman in the Bay Area where Lacey Peterson was from, that was also missing at the same time. And there was

Brock Ganeles (18:02.098)
Absolutely.

Mark Hayes (18:23.357)
Little to no coverage, if any at all, on that story.

Brock Ganeles (18:26.844)
Yeah, I think

Mark Hayes (18:29.909)
So you heard the theme in Ben Crump's, you know, presser today was that if the roles were reversed, what kind of interrogation would those three young black men have faced if the white guy had not come back and the black guys had his phone, his keys, sketchy GPS information,

Rinsing out the boat at three AM

Now we know, you know, how

That that there's, you know, sketchy circumstances behind the way he died. And and and, you know, Brock all all and Ben Crump said, All we want is nothing special, no special treatment. We want you to do the same thing you would do if it was your child. Follow the same procedures you would do if it was a young white man.

Brock Ganeles (19:31.804)
Yeah. Just do an investigation do an investigation. Just do an investigation.

Mark Hayes (19:37.506)
Period. Period. Now we don't have the throat. We don't have these body parts. Watch, I bet you the coroner in Mississippi can't come up with them. we discarded that. That's as per procedure. Right? We're never gonna know if his neck was broken in some sort of altercation on that boat. We're never gonna know. Until somebody cracks. Until they start charging people. I thought it was interesting too that.

Ben Crump asked that the coroner coroner be put in front of the grand jury as well and questioned. I think that would definitely go a long way as to indicating that there is, in fact, enough evidence to move forward with a case. And that there are suspicious circumstances.

Brock Ganeles (20:28.87)
Like we've all watched we've all watched Law and Order. We've all watched Law and Order for thirty years, right? So we know it's gonna come down to the prosecutors wanting to present the case. You know, just on the surface. We know they have enough to go to that grand jury and and and get some indictments and get some warrants and get some more evidence. Like that boat that you know, there just should be so much evidence being gathered and usually there's cameras and we can see it.

Mark Hayes (20:33.869)
Right.

Mark Hayes (20:39.276)
Right.

Mark Hayes (20:44.16)
no doubt.

Mark Hayes (20:51.404)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (20:58.684)
Right, you'll w there's video there's cameras there saying, here they are, they're coming out of the house with the boxes, and you see they have the plastic bags. We've watched the T V shows, we know how it's supposed to unfold. And it hasn't unfolded here, right? It's been a presumption of innocence, a presumption that it was just a tragic accident that no one saw or knew about, but the fact pattern of the case doesn't add up to that initial assumption.

Mark Hayes (21:09.291)
Thousand kind of chips. Yep.

Yeah.

Mark Hayes (21:27.597)
I I didn't know it was an hour. Within an hour after Nolan Wells' body was found, the sheriff was out saying, nothing to see here. Tragic drowning. Just an accident. Keep it moving. One hour. Really? There's been an investigation already? You guys have investigated that already? You're pretty sure this kid drowned.

Right, he's face down, fully clothed in the water, he just washes up.

Brock Ganeles (21:56.275)
Maybe they hadn't even talked to anyone yet, right? They hadn't talked to any of the kids who were with them, anyone at on the yeah, it's just it's a it's amazing. It's a it's an embarrassment of this justice s for the injustice system in America. It is you know, poking holes through anyone's sense that we have a fair system and that we have a race neutral or race blind system.

Mark Hayes (22:11.19)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (22:24.22)
Because we just know this is not how it would unfold if this situation was reversed and Ben Crump is kinda trying to make that point. But damn, Southern Mississippi with states rights and the like, I mean I'm I'm I think someone's gonna crack, but I if if no one cracks, I I wonder if they're gonna even try to solve this case. And have we heard or seen anything from the FBI that's supposedly been down there for a week plus?

Since when did they not have press conferences and, you know, you know, make some appeals to the public to provide information if they saw anything and put some breadcrumbs out there to see if anyone nibbles or stumbles over something? Nothing.

Mark Hayes (23:10.699)
We haven't heard shit. And and and do we really expect to in in an organization led by Cash Patel? Did he even go to college? I mean we

Brock Ganeles (23:21.156)
No, we but we we would hope that I guess our best hope is that there's some agents, that there's some good apples that, you know, still believe in what the FBI is supposed to be about and are just trying to keep their job and ride out the Cash Patel era because they didn't want to resign, but they still wanna do the right thing. Maybe they came from out of state instead of being the local Mississippi FBI. I don't I don't know. I'm just I'm trying a glass half full this one.

Mark Hayes (23:37.846)
In Mississippi?

Mark Hayes (23:48.951)
Spitballing. It just spitballed.

Brock Ganeles (23:50.62)
I'm trying. I'm wait I'm white guy trying to believe that there's some people out there of character.

Mark Hayes (23:58.058)
I heard you, bro. But, you know, at the same time, you see why Black America is enraged. You see why we walk around, you know, in some state of what the fuckness all the time. and there were two other African American men that died. One on a fishing boat at Lake Ray Hubbard, Ray Hubbard in Dallas.

And then Tyler Smith was at a party where the police were told that a dozen or so people were playing Russian roulette, and the only black guy there ended up dead. The police were told that he shot himself in a game of Russian roulette. The white kids at the party got rid of the gun. And nobody checked for gunshot residue. Nobody asked any questions. The police said, this is.

A tragic suicide and and and horseplay gone wrong. Let's wrap this thing up and go on home. Like, no questions asked, no investigation. Parents incensed asked why there was no gunshot residue test, and they were told by the police that the kids told us that they were playing Russian roulette and there was no need.

Brock Ganeles (25:04.048)
Wow. Yeah.

Mark Hayes (25:23.895)
to do a gunshot residue test because everyone would have residue on their hands. Well, no. Only the person that fired the weapon would have the residue on their hands.

Brock Ganeles (25:33.735)
Wow. Okay. Rule of law. I mean that's a good cover story for a murderer is to say it was Russian roulette. And it is isn't illegal to get rid of the gun, isn't that i in its own right? You're actually tampering with evidence, but that only gets enforced selectively. It's just like drug just like drug laws and gun laws, they're all enforced selectively. Our entire justice system is selective justice. Our rule of law is a

Mark Hayes (25:41.463)
Right.

Mark Hayes (25:45.301)
Isn't it tampering?

Mark Hayes (25:50.773)
Right. Call me crazy.

Mark Hayes (25:57.485)
Yeah.

Brock Ganeles (26:03.086)
is a farce working its way towards, you know, a total mockery. And it we go full circle and that's what happens when Donald Trump is the leader of your government and the leader and the boss of the head, you know, policing agency in the country and the head of the Justice Department. It's corrupt from the top all the way to the bottom. Places like Minnesota, Mississi Southern Mississippi were already corrupt.

Tons of small town USAs were already corrupt, but there's no watchdog above them. Just like the FBI is now saying that they're not even going to investigate these ICE shootings anymore. Okay, so now talk about being able to operate with impunity. ICE agents know no one there's gonna be no investigative body even looking into anything they do. What's what's to keep them in check?

Mark Hayes (26:44.045)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (26:56.843)
Yep. that Tyler Smith case was in Lexington, Kentucky. but here's the good thing though, Brock. There is no statute of limitations on murder. Right? So at some point, all all that's done in the dark will come to light.

I believe I believe at some point, like you said, there's gonna be a whole bunch of people to go to jail in Ocean Springs. But also, also, those charges in Dallas need to be upgraded in the Daniel Irving case. And we need to find out where that gun went in Lexington. And I don't give a damn that it's Kentucky. You see, here we are talking Kentucky, that Texas.

Mississippi. The worst place is to live in America. Where you can die and no one questions it.

Brock Ganeles (27:53.811)
By far the gotta be the worst places to live in America for black Americans. I know you're in Georgia and you're in the Atlanta area and the demographics have changed and there might be some sense of fairness where you live. but are do black people able to get a fair shake in any of those other states that we talked about?

And how the fuck did Kentucky vote a a Democratic governor? And if that's the case, like are they happy with him? And why aren't they looking to hire to, you know, in essence elect more Democrats and and stop having this white supremacy rule throughout the state? That like Iowa is, you know, you know, making everyone's quality of life decline. Sh bad water, bad air, getting hotter.

Mark Hayes (28:29.239)
Right.

Mark Hayes (28:34.742)
Yeah, those are great.

Mark Hayes (28:41.154)
Right.

Mark Hayes (28:49.183)
I just don't understand it, bro. All right, quick hit me so we can get up out of here. Depressing me again. You're gonna have me drinking way more than I care to.

Brock Ganeles (28:58.002)
You see ESPN's making all these cuts of of sportscasters fired Ryan Clark in the middle of a live TV show. I just I'm I'm kinda lost on ESPN. I've kinda they've lost me when they started becoming a basically a front for gambling when half their shows now are discussing point spreads and prop bets instead of talking about what I

Mark Hayes (29:05.356)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (29:12.289)
Yeah.

Brock Ganeles (29:26.788)
enjoyed which was actually sports, the actual competition and drama of sports. So I kind of root against D SPN now. It used to be the greatest station ever invented growing up when we got to watch all those highlights all n every night. But now now between gambling and the fact that they have adopted and endorsed worldwide wrestling, which is fake sports, like what the fuck is that? It's just

Mark Hayes (29:42.389)
All day, yeah.

Brock Ganeles (29:54.961)
I feel like I feel like they're lost and the fact that they're lost has me worried about what's gonna happen throughout the sports world, right? College sports is already, you know, fucked up because they don't know how to handle the economics and

It's a disappointment to be. We can't even have one aspect of life that's not being corrupted. You know, we talked gam gambling the other day. The gambling rampage is just it's so out of control that ESPN doesn't even want to talk about sports anymore. They just want to talk about betting.

Mark Hayes (30:23.926)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (30:34.389)
Yeah, or their own programming, right? Because they kind of lost me when the news sports stories of the day all revolved around the games that they were broadcasting that night. Right? So they became, you know, the promotional arm for their, you know, programming. And now, of course, you've got sports and and and gambling intertwined, which was supposed to be a no-no, right?

Brock Ganeles (30:55.516)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (31:02.721)
Pete Rose is not in the Hall of Fame because of it. Right? So now we're putting betting kiosks on stadium chairs and in stadiums asking the players not to touch it. Right? And it's all designed to create revenue so that they can pay the exorbitant salaries of these players and keep the profit margins.

of these billionaire owners come on bro let's let's it it's all it's always about the money right let's let let's not pretend that it's not it's about manufacturing streams of income and nobody nobody generates more income than you can you can look you can gamble you know per inning per half inning per batter

Brock Ganeles (31:47.421)
Yep.

Mark Hayes (32:00.504)
Per pitch, right? Per kick in the NFL. You know, per drive. You know, you can bet a hundred dollars. Well, you know, the Chargers score a touchdown on this drive. Here we go. Come on, Chargers, I need you to come through for me. Odds you right?

Brock Ganeles (32:15.634)
Yeah. And it suc and it it sucks in yo young white men particularly are just that's their jam and

Mark Hayes (32:23.851)
Yep. And there are some great documentaries on how lives have been ruined at by athletes who have, you know, been point shaving. check out the Netflix documentary. where they have the the point guard from Arizona State whose life was ruined for point shaving. yeah.

Brock Ganeles (32:27.507)
Yeah.

Brock Ganeles (32:41.532)
Yeah. There's gonna be more of it. There's gonna be more of it. The the money's getting bigger, it's it's ubiquitous and it's young people. So it's a cocktail that's gonna lead to just, you know, w we're not gonna be able to we're not gonna be able to trust. It's another thing we're gonna have less trust in.

Mark Hayes (32:55.201)
Disaster. Yep.

Yep. Yep. Absolutely. we've got an offensive lineman in Arizona who was picked up for carrying a weapon in Ajax, which is a suburb of Toronto. So Isaiah Adams was arrested and charged with possession possessing an illegal weapon.

not sure how that's going to affect, you know, his career. It did happen in Toronto. Not sure if he's gonna be stuck in Toronto and you know, how their gun laws work. But I'm sure had he been, you know, in Arizona, well, you never know. He might have ended up dead, he might have got a at a boy. You know, that's a nice piece of machinery you got there. You never know. All right? You could end you never know.

Brock Ganeles (33:53.035)
Yeah. Yeah, that's that's it. I mean Canada has tighter gun gun laws, so they're they're looking for stuff my guess is you know, I said it earlier, it's another thing we in the US just selectively you know. Yeah, we just selectively enforce the you know, gun laws just like we selectively enforce drug laws, so Canada I think is harsher about it. They want they don't want to have the mass shootings that we have. So you can't fuck around bringing a a weapon

Mark Hayes (34:01.783)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (34:07.627)
Refuse to yeah, we refuse to process.

Mark Hayes (34:19.381)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (34:22.438)
Milling around Kennedy's probably spent too much time in Arizona and and forgot that you know, our brethren to the north actually, you know, wanna keep themselves alive.

Mark Hayes (34:25.739)
Yep. Forgot the weapon was in the car.

Yeah. Yeah. I mean that's probably exactly what happened. He probably drove back home and he's riding around, you know, got pulled over because he got out of country plates. And they searched his vehicle. Might have smelled a little weed. I don't mean to pontificate.

Brock Ganeles (34:49.468)
Yeah. So Mark, we got we got some peop before we hop we got some people in the chat, we had some comments that saying that older ex military are not on board with Trump, but the current military, maybe in the way they've recruited, is still in heavy support of the president, which worries me. But there has been talk that it has become like a white supremacy recruiting. Although there's a lot of black people in the in the armed forces as well. I mean

Mark Hayes (35:08.929)
That makes sense.

Mark Hayes (35:17.77)
Mm-hmm.

Brock Ganeles (35:17.778)
This is why I could see a civil war if Trump if Trump adopts martial law. Right? I mean that's I wonder I wonder what the solidarity of our troops would be either way.

Mark Hayes (35:25.545)
Right. Well I know that

Mark Hayes (35:32.105)
Right. Well, I wonder what would happen, you know, what's gonna happen when these young you know recruits start realizing that President Trump has left them to die at some of these Middle Eastern bases and they've moved all the aircraft because Iran was doing such a great job targeting them, and they've left the soldiers at these bases.

You know, with next to no ammunition. We hear they're running out of ammunition left and right. They're downplaying, you know, the the the injuries to the soldiers. and then of course we know when they get back they're not gonna be able to get the kind of mental health care they need, the kind of medical care that they need. That you know, they're gonna be sitting three and four hours over at the VA hospital trying to get treatment. I don't know. I I just I don't I don't understand. You know?

It's it's it's a sad situation. I mean w you know, one of the most honorable things we could do is is, you know, serve our country. And he's bastardized that too.

So yeah. But thanks for your comment. We certainly appreciate you.

Brock Ganeles (36:44.988)
Yeah, speaking of things yeah, just before I speak of things that supposedly MAGA's souring on that MAGA is g is souring on the fact that we're still in this like never ending war in Iran, because they actually some of them actually bought into America first. And they actually thought that Trump was gonna be less interventionist and we were gonna focus on ourselves and they

Mark Hayes (37:01.281)
Right.

Mark Hayes (37:08.812)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (37:10.373)
you know, actually the actions of the second term couldn't be further from the truth, right? We're all over the world, we can have it fucking everywhere.

Mark Hayes (37:16.937)
Right. Fucking ridiculous. Unbelievable. All right, buddy.

Brock Ganeles (37:20.518)
All right. Frustrating times. Okay. I'm on the road tomorrow as you know, heading to the big city, into New York City. I'll give some reports from from Mondani Land when we reconvene on Friday. All right, Mark. Always a pleasure to our guests. Thank you for joining us in the chat today.

Mark Hayes (37:29.716)
Enjoy.

Mark Hayes (37:35.084)

Mark Hayes (37:40.538)
Absolutely. We'll see you again on Friday.

Brock Ganeles (37:44.351)
