The Sad Disappearance of Honesty in America: Corruption, Cover-Ups, and Losing the Fight for Justice
Brock Ganeles (00:02.702)
Maybe.
Mark Hayes (00:04.807)
All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Two men in black and white and honest conversation after a couple of days off. I was attending the 85th Grand Conclave of the Omega Psy 5 Fraternity Incorporated. While we were there, Ben Crump, also a member of the Illustrious Fraternity, made an appearance. And there is more news coming out of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
There was an autopsy report that's circulating. Is it real? Or is it a fugazi, as they might say, from our part of the world? also, we've got a Michigan Senate race that is hotly contested, that may all come down to the black vote. Well, isn't that interesting? And of course, Donald Trump and more of his chicanery with Tom Blanch trying to turn the Justice Department into his own personal.
legal defense fund while he pressures law firms around the country that have pledged more than a billion dollars in legal services to Kanks McTaco Tits, also known as Cheeto Mussolini, aka the Chump Trump. Rocinellis joins me now from wow, the southern part
of the United States. He's getting a cultural view of what happens when you cross the Mason Dixon line. Brock, you better be careful. As they say in Baltimore, be more careful. How's things going, my friend?
Brock Ganeles (01:48.846)
Yeah, I'll I guess I won't go out at night. Yeah, I'm getting some sous and exposure. Always good to get to the deep south as I did a month ago when I was in Mississippi.
Mark Hayes (01:58.095)
Always good?
Brock Ganeles (01:59.619)
Now get to the deep south, get along that Florida borderline and get to get out there with the people and see what real America has to say about the future. I'm unlikely to bring up the Nolan Wells c case here. I'm a little bit of outsider, not sure it would go over too well in this in these parts.
Mark Hayes (02:20.287)
Mm.
Brock Ganeles (02:22.978)
But I just find I mean, I while you were at your conclave in Cincinnati, I was immersed in the Nolan Well story and each little tidbit that's leaking its way out there, encouraged about the number of white people that I see online that are appalled by the situation and feel that they're witnessing a failed justice system. But the stonewalling is real, right? The the collusion and the cover up is in
Full force, the threatening of lawsuits left and right, right? Crump and Sharpton getting threatened with lawsuits. I don't think those are gonna go anywhere. I think it's bullshit. defam defamation for mentioning that they could possibly be suspects. The FBI gets in the mix, but only to f find some people that have been threatening one of the kids' mothers.
Mark Hayes (02:55.216)
Sure.
Mark Hayes (03:02.833)
What do you sue them for? What what what wha what grounds death
Brock Ganeles (03:21.1)
Right? The FBI hasn't done jack shit on anything else relative to the case, but that's the one thing they focused on was a couple of online threats. It's it's a mockery of justice in America. And that's not even to say I have any idea what the true outcome is, right? I have my gut read on the situation, but we don't know. But it's the process that's failing us, it's the media.
Mark Hayes (03:39.91)
We don't know.
Brock Ganeles (03:48.111)
Cover up. It's the TMZ playing shill for the white families. It's that joke Yeah, that joke of ex, you know, Betum, race Betum Tatum coming out and like creating edited doctored inter you know interviews that try to paint a narrative which to you know to sort of flood the zone with innocence so that
Mark Hayes (03:54.254)
What's that all about?
Mark Hayes (04:14.627)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (04:15.138)
this can get swept away. It's the George Floyd case of justice in that it's exposing it's exposing our system.
Mark Hayes (04:20.954)
Well well right.
Mark Hayes (04:25.806)
Yeah, a again. Once again. Now hopefully white America starts to believe us when we say, the justice system is not fair to black and brown America. But here's what I find interesting, and here's what kind of crosses the T and dots the I. We had one white woman threatened, and all of a sudden we get an arrest. How about that? How many how many threats has Nolan's mother received? Christine and Elmo.
How many r threats have they received? And are they being investigated? Will we see an arrest? With the harassment of the family who said, we just want to know what happened to our child. We just know why want to know why our child was unalive. Brock, is that too much to ask in America in 2026? You're a black American in 2026 and you cannot ask.
For a fair investigation into the death of your child. I mean, how much more do we have to do for America to realize there is something radically wrong here? There is something that stinks here. And of course, we can't Brock, we can't just say it's Mississippi. We got the feds dipping their toe in the water.
You know, we got the media who barely wants to cover the story. We've got TMZ, right? Acting in in in pro bono fashion for the four white boys, right? The poor white boys who've been wrongly acc have they been accused of anything? I mean, I haven't heard what what's what's defamatory about what's been said?
Were you or were you not on the boat when Nolan got to Horn Island? Let's start there. And then why was he not on the boat when you came back? Can we finish there? Or can we get a fair investigation? Look how long it took to get a conviction in the Medgar Evers case. Decades. Talk to me, son. Talk to me.
Brock Ganeles (06:48.886)
They're suspects. Everyone was on the boat with him or was interacting with him on that day are suspects. Of course they're all suspects. And all they have to do is provide an alibi and work their way out of the situation. But just there somebody has to be a suspect, right? We have a dead body that's washed up on the shore. So
There's a chance that foul play was involved. And even if there's just the chance of foul play, then it's the human beings that interacted with the deceased are all suspects. We've watched police shows our entire lives. Everyone gets interviewed, everyone gets shaken down, everyone has to provide an alibi. Where were you on the night of? Right? And there.
Mark Hayes (07:28.614)
Yeah.
Brock Ganeles (07:39.371)
And process of elimination until somebody's story has holes in it. And then of course in our one hour television drama we catch the perpetrator in the last five minutes. We've just seen it. So there's never the show where it's just like everyone scrubs their social media, lawyers up, and it's just determined that it was a drowning.
Mark Hayes (07:50.79)
Right. We know the form.
Brock Ganeles (08:06.582)
Shows don't end in the first five minutes. You got there's not a 55-minute blank screen on Law and Order after we get the first scene of the death. There's a whole show that plays out in an investigative process that goes through. It's a disgrace that the family is getting harassed. That's just America. That's that's racist America. Like every parent would want justice for their kid. And every parent should get justice for their kid. It should be as simple as that.
Mark Hayes (08:16.034)
Exactly.
Mark Hayes (08:20.919)
Exactly.
Mark Hayes (08:36.686)
Right. we need to go back and get a Matthew McConaughey moment from A Time to Kill, you know? America, just imagine Nolan Wells was white.
Remember that scene in the courtroom? And when they were trying to convict the little girl's father? What would you have done? What should what should the Wells family do? Should they just say, okay, you know, we don't we don't know where his neck is and the hyoid bone. We're just gonna forget about, you know, this this fake autopsy that's circulating online.
We don't care about the controversy. We've buried our son already. We'd just like to move on. Can you imagine having being told to just move on after your child is killed in what isn't even, he hasn't even reached the prime of his life. He was just getting started with manhood. And Brock, then you've got Harvey online.
On TMZ actively lying about some officer Tatum Officer Race Batum Tatum, as you called him, lying about the video, saying Nolan was not on that boat. How do you know Nolan was not on that boat? Nolan could have been dead by that.
Brock Ganeles (10:09.388)
How do you know? How would he know? That hasn't been established. It hasn't been established that he was on or not on the boat. We have the audio that makes it sound like he was on the boat dead. We have the witnesses who say that he was or the the the kids on the boat who said that they left him behind. So we have hearsay, we have an audio tape. It just hasn't been established yet. So why would you be taking a stance either way?
Mark Hayes (10:14.693)
No. Right.
Yep. Yep.
Mark Hayes (10:28.496)
Right.
Mark Hayes (10:36.237)
Right. We're not supposed to jump to conclusions. But the sheriff in Ocean Springs jumped to the conclusion immediately. Nothing to see here. No foul play. He drowned. But yet we can't get the neck. We can't get the hyoid bone. We don't know if he was choked out, strangled. You know, we don't know if his neck was broken, somebody kicked him to sleep. We don't know if they held him upside down underwater.
Brock Ganeles (10:45.058)
No foul puck.
Mark Hayes (11:04.837)
We we we don't know what we didn't see his lungs. We didn't get a chance to decide whether or not there was water in the lungs.
Brock Ganeles (11:13.42)
We don't know anything. S no one should have a conclusion at this point and no one should be believing anything anyone says at this point. No one's word is gospel. We live in a world of lies from Trump on down. We could make a laundry list of people that are lying about shit right now. That's become the American way. I don't believe anything anyone says. Show me some evidence that backs up what you're saying. The list of people that have clowned themselves in this scenario already is
Mark Hayes (11:20.987)
Right.
Mark Hayes (11:25.659)
Period.
Mark Hayes (11:34.321)
Right.
Mark Hayes (11:42.223)
It is ridiculous.
Brock Ganeles (11:42.361)
Fucking huge, right? The Cajun Nation has blown their reputation on this. Whoever that patrol was that found Nolan Wells can't be trusted. Medical examiner can't be trusted. Police can't be trusted. Detectives can't be trusted. FBI can't be trusted. Media can't be trusted. Throughout this whole scenario. And I will say this: if Zolan if Nolan Wells was white, he'd be Gabby Petito.
Mark Hayes (11:48.625)
Yeah.
Brock Ganeles (12:11.998)
No one believed that boyfriend story, whatever he said, I lost sight of her, we parted ways in fucking Utah and he drove home and doesn't know where she is. No one believed him. They made him prove it out, followed evidence, found ended up as a murder. But the media was all over it. Media was all over it. There was gonna be justice for Gabby Petito.
Mark Hayes (12:29.701)
Yeah. Yeah.
Mark Hayes (12:34.908)
Yeah.
Yep. And it happens every time a white woman goes missing. We look for white women like, whoa, like nobody's business. I mean, think about yeah, just go on your Netflix and look at all the white women missing or unalived, you know, Netflix specials. How about the woman that was kidnapped in California and then all of a sudden she was kidnapped out of her home in the middle of the night, held up at some cabin.
In the Northern California, and then all of a sudden popped up about a block away from her home, walking down the street to her home, just fine, in great condition. Have you seen that story? I mean, the resources that were expended on that search alone.
Brock Ganeles (13:26.304)
I've seen the story.
Mark Hayes (13:35.716)
I mean, I you know, they ended up arresting somebody. You know, a Harvard educated former, I think, Navy SEAL. I mean, and it it just never made sense. But we could go right on down the list. I mean, Susan Smith was able to convince America that a black man do you know what happened in the to black men in that little town?
area of South Carolina where Susan Smith lived after she gave a description of a black man that had taken her car and her babies?
Man, they were rousting black men and kicking the life out of black men in that South Carolina enclave looking for Susan Smith's babies, who she knew damn well when she went on today's show. She had killed those babies. She knew it. She knew where they were. But yet she led America to believe that the black boogeyman had done it again. Right? Lacey Peterson, right? Gabby Petito.
Elizabeth Smart. White woman missing syndrome. Why aren't the rest of the lives that go missing in America as important? And that is a direct indictment of our media.
Brock Ganeles (15:02.718)
Absolutely. The media it this is this Nolan Wells case won't go away because it highlights too many of the problems with America. And like I said, I'm encouraged by the fact I think there's just too many people that won't let it go. Well, black America s certainly won't let it go, but there's too many white people that won't let it go because it's too blatant injustice. And the story's gonna have legs.
Mark Hayes (15:13.307)
Right.
Mark Hayes (15:19.109)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (15:30.142)
It's there's too many eyes on this for them to sweep it away without repercussions. They may sweep it away, but at great cost, reputational cost. And I really think the reputational cost is to the entire American justice system. But if we had a leadership at the DOJ level that ain't gave a shit about that, versus Trump trying to push through ahead of the Department of Justice.
Mark Hayes (15:50.544)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (16:00.393)
Just because he needs a person there who will cover up the Epstein files. Like all of that, every machination that's going on right now in the Senate and in this you know approval process for Todd Blanche is all because Todd Blanch we is diving on the Epstein files like it's a grenade. So from the top on down, we can't have justice for the young women, and therefore.
Mark Hayes (16:00.518)
Yeah.
Mark Hayes (16:05.722)
Right.
Mark Hayes (16:19.259)
Yep. Yep. And don't forget.
Brock Ganeles (16:26.86)
We're fine. We're gonna find it really hard to have justice for Nolan Wells because we're not gonna get a federal government shakedown of the local authorities. And that's the missing piece of the puzzle. And that's why there's a through line of no trust in America. No trust in any agency, government agency from the bottom all the way to the top. Because how could there be when the president of the United States is a pathological liar?
Mark Hayes (16:37.828)
Right.
Mark Hayes (16:44.432)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (16:56.088)
Who also happens to be a child rapist who needs to keep that under wraps.
Mark Hayes (16:57.459)
Sociopath. Right. Absolutely. And don't forget, Brock, they're also gonna pay off, right? Donald Trump's payoff to the January Sixers. Remember, we've got the fund that people are waiting for, right? They're waiting for their payouts. You know, remember Gavin Newsom instituted that 100% tax if you get a payout.
In California.
Brock Ganeles (17:28.032)
And the two Republican senators pretended like they were gonna stand in the way of Blanche getting approved and now they've got this, you know, bullshit agreement that they're not gonna, you know, have the IRS immunity or the slush fund. But that agreement isn't worth the paper it's written on. As soon as Blanche gets approved, they're gonna be like, fuck that. And Cornyn and Tillis are gonna be gone and they're just gonna do whatever the fuck they want. It's a charade and a sham from the top down.
Mark Hayes (17:43.098)
Right.
Exactly.
Brock Ganeles (17:58.165)
All the way down to the bullshit that's going on with the police down in Ocean what is it called? Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Starts at the top. I mean yeah. It's a sage it's a through it's the same thing all the way through. We're we're so fucking lost as a country.
Mark Hayes (18:04.312)
Ocean springs. Right. Right. It's the same thing. Yeah.
Right.
Mark Hayes (18:16.645)
And that's the problem, Brock. Who who's gonna help us find ourselves? The cavalry is not coming. That's the thing. The cavalry is not coming. We are screwed on our own. Right? We ha and we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We have nobody to blame but ourselves. And that's the the the the like why are we destroying ourselves from within? How did we allow?
A D plus student to occupy the Oval Office not once but twice.
Who we know got there by less than legal means. Right? We know for a fact that he stole the 24 election. There was no way he could have won. All the swing states, Brock. All the swing states?
There's no way. There's no way. He was not organized enough. He doesn't know how to run a campaign. The campaign was shit. He had no ground game in Pennsylvania. Kamala Harris knocked on 800,000 doors with her and her volunteers. Even she was knocking on doors. They never saw a Trumpster out there. They never saw anyone on the ground campaigning for Trump. And you're gonna tell me he won Pennsylvania? Get the fuck out of here.
Brock Ganeles (19:44.311)
White men wanted to bully the rest of America. White women went along with them because it c allows them to be second in line in the in the realm of power. And Latinos rolled along because they felt like that they were being treated like white people and the ones who quote did it the right way and they you know they pretended like they were voting for their pocketbook and economics and because they're small business owners.
Mark Hayes (20:01.393)
What?
Brock Ganeles (20:12.684)
And all that horseshit that we were fed that had nothing to do with anything. Trump's economic policies are a fucking tragic disaster. But we knew that already because we'd seen four years of it. So it was all a fraud. It was all a power play, mostly perpetuated by men. White women are the disappointing disappointment of the entire voting block. Because I don't they don't even get that much out of it, but they get to be Karens and run around and feel like that they're, you know, sitting atop.
Mark Hayes (20:24.372)
Mm-hmm.
Brock Ganeles (20:41.452)
The others and racism, the scourge of racism was the play. And that play one wins just enough people. And now everyone is getting screwed all over the place, everywhere you look. Forest fires, fucking murders at In N Out Burger, hospitals closing down. First people got pushed off the Medicaid rolls, and lo and behold.
Mark Hayes (20:49.892)
Bains to play. Yeah.
Yeah.
Mark Hayes (20:59.055)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (21:10.058)
It's the hospital that becomes the first stop in the medical system because there's no coverage. Hospitals going down. One in Arizona just closed today. They're all on life support andor closing. So healthcare is in decline. Everybody's getting hurt everywhere. The economy's in decline. But who gets the payout? What do you know? Who's gonna get the big payout on the tariffs? But corporate America.
Nothing's gonna trickle through to the consumer. Mean the whole play, absolutely zero trickle. We paid for the tariffs ultimately as consumers. The corporations get reimbursed, the deficit goes up. Regular common day Americans are the losers, which gets us to Michigan and the Senate primary and the Democratic side tomorrow.
Mark Hayes (21:42.211)
trickle down doesn't work.
Brock Ganeles (22:07.8)
Which I think is something of a litmus test for non-MAGA America. Non-MAGA America. Are they gonna vote for the Chuck Schumer candidate who's taking the APAC money, is focused on Israel, and is absolutely middle of the road, has her ear to those four eighty-year-olds in an Iowa diner, and that's who she's voting for, or the progressive candidate who's talking about.
Mark Hayes (22:08.026)
Right.
Mark Hayes (22:11.706)
Gotta be.
Mark Hayes (22:27.236)
Ding uping.
Right.
Brock Ganeles (22:36.002)
Changing the entire landscape of the healthcare system, who's talking about like reinstating food stamps to hungry kids, and is really basically on board with a Bernie AOC agenda. Will black and will black people in Michigan vote for the status quo or for the progressive? Because they seem to be the swing vote.
Mark Hayes (22:45.382)
Hmm. Radical.
Right. Radical.
Mark Hayes (22:58.96)
Well
Well, and here's what happens for Abdul al El Said. How did he approach the black vote in in you know the greater Detroit area? Because, you know, you only have the Detroit area, you got Saginaw, Grand Rapids. There are only a few black pockets that you need to hit in the state of Michigan in order to get this done.
The Haley Stevens do nothing Schumer contingent really doesn't have a chance with the black folk because of the radical ideas that Abdul El Syed has don't seem so radical to black people. Right? Like Head Start, breakfast school lunches, a breakfast program.
All the programs that are needed in the urban area are now labeled as progressive and radical and socialist. You tell me what is so radical about making sure American children are fed?
Right? Because Donald Trump went up to Michigan a couple weeks ago. What was it, two weeks ago, ten days ago, and lied at a GM plant about building more plants than have ever been built. Car car plants, auto, auto plants are being built in the state of Michigan. They are not. They are not, sir. Stop bullshitting Americans. You know, those are good jobs, Brock.
Mark Hayes (24:48.27)
You get a job at GM, you know, one of those car manufacturers in the Detroit area, you know, you get a spouse, you might be making two fifty, three hundred a year, a year household income. And now those jobs are starting to dissipate and go away.
Brock Ganeles (25:10.03)
Yeah, I was gonna say you're definitively in the middle class, right? You're in the middle class, boom, boom, you're in the middle class just having that job. And then, you know, you move up a little bit, andor get a second income, and you're now maybe you'd call it upper middle class, like working your way towards being wealthy, like having real wealth, not obscene wealth, not one percent of wealth, but like, you know, living a good life in an affordable city. I don't know if he hit the mark with the black voters.
Mark Hayes (25:12.613)
Right.
Mark Hayes (25:26.725)
Right.
Mark Hayes (25:30.894)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (25:39.927)
I don't know if Abdul did that. I hope he did. I'm not we're not on the ground I'm not on the ground there to see it. I can't imagine how Ali Stevens did. I mean her her messaging is horrendous. And I would be it would be a total disappointment if she wins. It'd be a total disappointment. It would and they're playing the racism card. She's playing it, and certainly the Republicans gonna play it. But let play it when we get there. But I think it's just important
Mark Hayes (25:46.959)
Right.
Mark Hayes (25:53.188)
Yep. I know she didn't go to flip it.
Brock Ganeles (26:07.542)
We need to see the shift on the left and the resistance in order to pull America to pull America to a real center at best, if not center left. Even if you can't get all those policies through. Just get a handful of them through. Right? Mandani's gonna not do i everything he said he wanted to do in New York. But if you can get a couple of those programs through, that's that's still meaningful change. Right? If he bats two fifty, if he bets two fifty, gets four at it, you know
Mark Hayes (26:27.6)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (26:37.356)
W whatever, two fifty is bad. If he bats three hundred, right? Gets three out of ten of his policies through. That'd be pretty good. If he gets like the universal health care and maybe the f you know, he already f freezes the rent and he gets one more thing through, pretty good. Okay. If seven of die on the vine 'cause he gets too much pushback he can't get the votes, blah blah blah in the in in the you know, borough committees. Still be pretty good.
Mark Hayes (26:43.336)
Yeah.
Brock Ganeles (27:04.802)
Pretty that did be a an effective progressive movement.
Mark Hayes (27:05.274)
Well
Three out of ten policies for the American people, not for the one percenters. Like who's working for the American? We've got nobody working for the American people right now. They can't get anything done when it comes to making our lives easier. It's four dollar gas. We went through the whole litany of four dollar gas plus, right? They're not trying. They're not trying. But El Sayed decided to end his campaign in Detroit.
Brock Ganeles (27:28.172)
Mark, they're not even trying they're not even trying to.
Mark Hayes (27:37.359)
So he knows where his bread is buttered. So if he can relate to the black community, if he can relate to, you know, you have a lot of African American wealth in the city of Detroit and surrounding areas. A lot of African Americans became wealthy, you know, as auto manufacturer suppliers, right? With some of the some of the widgets that are needed, some of the nuts and bolts that are needed.
There were many African Americans that figured that out. You know, Dave Bing, and some of the other former pro athletes, right? They came up with businesses that supported the manufacturing processes of these automobiles and became very wealthy. black ownership in the casinos, right? So you have some black wealth there. You can move the needle with these urban communities.
Brock Ganeles (28:20.749)
Mm-hmm.
Mark Hayes (28:36.786)
In southern Michigan, right? Flint. Right? Flint is gonna work for anybody who says we will fix your water. Right? Flint is gonna vote. Like, Haley Stevens can't go to Flint and tell me shit. You can't tell me anything. Because what have you done? Think about Brock, think about how many generations of Flintstones.
Right, remember the Flintstones, Mateen Cleves, and those guys from Flint on the great Michigan State basketball teams that Tom Iso bought in from think about how many kids, right, whose lives have been impacted by, you know, chemically altered and and yeah, and just shitty water.
Brock Ganeles (29:26.231)
Shitty one.
Brock Ganeles (29:30.656)
And that's and now that's a national story because that's gone on all over the country because of this whole data center thing, right? So now water is in b not only is climate change imperiled just
Mark Hayes (29:33.638)
Yep. Yep.
Brock Ganeles (29:45.033)
access to water, right? Colorado and Arizona with the Colorado River drying up, right? Like they're running out of water. And other pock pockets, other tranches of America are having their water polluted because of this data center boom.
Mark Hayes (29:51.15)
Yeah.
Brock Ganeles (30:00.778)
and these build-outs that we know immediately fuck with the groundwater, which already has some problems because we allowed the fracking and the fracking has worked its way through to hurt water tables. Like we're we're in essence have a water crisis in America. No wonder Iran is targeting our water sources because they see it as a soft spot for us right now. I I hope I hope voters can see the bigger picture and push for real change.
Mark Hayes (30:09.766)
Right.
Mark Hayes (30:21.243)
Yeah. Yeah.
Brock Ganeles (30:29.196)
So I'm really banking on the Michigan voters to make a statement because I also feel that it will be something of a death blow for Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries as leader and Ken Martin as leaders of the party. I I think they'll be that'll be like the physical manifestation of the fact that a leadership change is being demanded by the rank and file.
Mark Hayes (30:41.083)
Gotta get him out of there. Yep. Right.
Brock Ganeles (30:53.324)
And if Halle Stevens wins, it's like a win for Chuck Schumer. And it's a ultra stagnating status quo dynamic on the left. So I'm nervous, I'm worried, and I'm hopeful about what Michigan does tomorrow.
Mark Hayes (31:08.783)
Right. let's hope they go the right way.
Brock Ganeles (31:09.772)
And it's all on black voters. And I really hope black voters decide that they really want to en masse, be a part of the progressive movement, and say we're gonna impact change over here on the progressive side of the ledger, not to try to like keep reinforce a center that I don't think has worked for them. I don't think it's worked for anybody. But we'll see. We're gonna see.
Mark Hayes (31:32.762)
No.
No. Yeah, well it's work for the one percenters, Brock. I I just I just you know, I'm just disgusted at our political process right now. you know, and here's the other thing, Brock. Can we have a a free and fair election? We don't know. We don't know. yeah.
Brock Ganeles (31:56.323)
We don't know. But we should have a free and fair primary. We'll probably have a free and fair primary because there's no point in anyone manipulating it, right? Like what's there's not enough value in getting caught or trying. So I don't I feel like we might be able to, you know, trust our primary results and then we're gonna be in a knife fight, you know, led by democracy docket to have some semblance of a fair election in November, which is less than a hundred days away.
Mark Hayes (32:05.618)
Right.
Mark Hayes (32:19.055)
Right.
Mark Hayes (32:25.593)
Right. Right. All right, quick hit me. Let's get out of here.
Brock Ganeles (32:31.47)
you go first on this one.
Mark Hayes (32:34.873)
All right. you know, staying on our theme of missing white women, the Pima County Sheriff's Office has released a couple of ransom notes, they believe, you know, might be from the people that have kidnapped Nancy Guthrie. Of course, we saw Savannah Guthrie just a week ago or two weeks ago step away from the Today Show. but, you know, I I think all indications now,
seem to point to her demise and that she has perished. so now it's more of a, you know, recovery mission, to give that family some closure. I I I you know, I ha I told you I personally met Savannah Guthrie when I was still in the business and she was as pleasant as you can ever imagine a human being to be.
Yeah, just a super sweetheart of a person. And you know, usually when you get to that level, you have people who you know, normally drive to work, and they have a parking space for their car and a parking space for their ego. She was not like that at all. just a super sweet lady and you know, I've been cheering and praying for her and hoping and hoping
that there would be some sort of, you know, just closure for them. and on the other hand, before we get out of here, 60 minutes is 60 minutes, as if we care, is announcing a brand new slate of correspondence. So they're getting rid of all the people. Yeah. They're getting rid of all the people who were truth tellers. We don't want any more truth tellers here.
Brock Ganeles (34:16.664)
Don't care.
Talk to.
Yeah. Barry Weiss's people. Yeah, they're they're gonna go and they're gonna they're these are the people that are willing to do a story in the way management wants it presented to stay on Trump's good side. So that's what sixty minutes now is. It's a fraud and I c I mean I just just don't watch. Let the ratings tell the story and let it bleed to death.
Mark Hayes (34:24.027)
We want people who will go on T V. Yeah.
Mark Hayes (34:33.34)
Yep.
Mark Hayes (34:36.71)
Yeah.
Mark Hayes (34:47.367)
let it die. Please let it die.
Brock Ganeles (34:49.454)
All right, Mark Michael my quick hit is okay, Eastern Washington, Tucson, which is I wonder what's going on at Gonzaga University, is not Tucson, I mean Spokane, Washington is burning, right? Yet another massive out of control wildfire with firefighters dying in the blaze and entire cities at at risk. At what point are the American people going to hit
Mark Hayes (35:01.553)
Yeah.
Mark Hayes (35:14.567)
Right.
Brock Ganeles (35:18.526)
A breaking point where they stop voting and supporting people that are destroying the environment and making our country, not to mention the planet, unlivable. Doesn't matter how much you must money you have, if everything's burning down around you, you can't win the battle against Mother Nature. You're gonna fucking lose. And
one city, state after another just gets pummeled with yet another disaster and it doesn't change people's behavior, voting behavior, their minds.
Mark Hayes (36:02.193)
Nope.
Nope. It's waffle.
Brock Ganeles (36:05.57)
Why? Why why are we not voting for our own quality of life?
Mark Hayes (36:10.423)
I I don't understand it, bro. I don't understand it. And we're leaving the planet a mess for the next generation of children. and I don't know where rich Republicans and rich MAGA and MAGA MAGs think they're gonna live.
Brock Ganeles (36:13.078)
Yeah.
Mark Hayes (36:29.339)
Like where do they think there's some other planet that they can go to? You think there's some other air that they can breathe? Like all the maggots sucking that smoke in Spokane right now. Like what what what air are you gonna breathe? Jackass? I mean it's it's it's it's it's horrific, Brock. really frustrating.
Brock Ganeles (36:50.54)
And it's not a fluke. It's like just because it happened now doesn't mean it's gonna happen again and again and again. Like they're now you're just at risk. Now you just have this random risk in your life that your home isn't safe because it could burn down at any time because we don't have the tools to even control it.
Mark Hayes (36:56.069)
And again.
Mark Hayes (37:01.191)
Yeah.
Mark Hayes (37:11.119)
Right. Right.
Brock Ganeles (37:12.07)
And it just happened to be Eastern W Washington this week, but as we know, it was California, it was Colorado, it's been Arizona, it's working its way, it could be anywhere USA pretty much. Very frustrating.
Mark Hayes (37:27.881)
Absolutely. All right, buddy. Let's rack it up. Do it again this morning.
Brock Ganeles (37:29.686)
That's why we need to see progressives why we need to see progressives win in Michigan tomorrow. Because the status quo people haven't gotten shit done. And we have to turn to some new people, younger people. We're gonna be on the planet longer and maybe are worried about it more than us old timers.
Mark Hayes (37:41.271)
At all. At all.
Mark Hayes (37:47.557)
Yeah, really. All right, buddy. We'll wrap it up. Do it again tomorrow. Yes, sir. Revolution.
Brock Ganeles (37:50.574)
All right Mark, always a pleasure.
Okay.
Mark Hayes (37:57.531)
Peace.
