How Does Trump Get Out of the Iran Trap He Created?

Mark Hayes (00:00.979)
No, we are not live. But ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Hayes, Brock and Ella's here with you. Two men in black and white and honest conversation. And ladies and gentlemen, UAE under attack from Iran. Missile spired because Donald Trump tried to open up the Strait of Hormuz. In the meantime, if you filled up for gas this morning, you are correct. Your gas prices did go up. Brock, what say you, my friend? The shit show continues.

And we're just looking at it through black and white. And I'm telling you right now, black folks are fed up. But now we got no choice but to fight. But everybody's getting hammered by these gas prices.

Brock Ganeles (00:44.813)
Yeah, they seem to be up like 10 cents a day, right? So it's at the skyrocketing point. But I think it just comes back to the topic of Trump is trapped. He trapped himself, but he has no way out of this, right? So in the one hand, he's saying, we're going to escort all these ships through, right? We're going to now be the policemen of the Strait of Hormuz.

Mark Hayes (00:47.201)
Yes. Yeah.

Mark Hayes (00:51.307)
Right.

Mark Hayes (01:00.268)
Yes!

Right.

Brock Ganeles (01:13.357)
which really just sets us up to be targets, right? Now it's target practice. Now we're in charge of everything there. Probably not practical that we're going to be able to pull that off. And meanwhile, right? Iran's going to chip away at our so-called allies in the region and make them feel pain, right? Iran's just in the game of they're trying to make everyone else feel pain so that everyone else cries uncle and gets out of their fucking.

Territory, right? Leaves them alone.

Mark Hayes (01:43.244)
Yeah, yep, yep. And you know, this is this again, you said he trapped himself. Are we going to make him pay at the ballot box because like everybody else has had to pay, right? The only one who's not paying is Trump. Trump has amassed personal wealth in this 15 months in office, 16 months in office.

equivalent to 40 times, 40 times the wealth amassed while in office of all the presidents in history.

Brock Ganeles (02:22.489)
I saw a number of like $6 trillion lobbed out. The last time we spoke, was like 4 million or 4.5 million. Well, now Don Jr. and Eric have gotten a huge contract for drone contracts from the Pentagon for some business they invested in, right? That's just our taxpayer money flowing right into the Trump bank accounts.

Mark Hayes (02:46.987)
which disgusts me to no end. It makes me not want to pay my taxes. It makes me not want to be a part of the system. It makes me want to go and move overseas and be an expat. Because there is no one less deserving of Americans' hard-earned dollar bill than the Trump family. They haven't served, they haven't done anything remotely.

positive for this country, especially when we talk about what's going on in Iran. And we've got, you know, KIAs in our military because of these clowns.

Brock Ganeles (03:26.327)
Yeah, well, to go back to your question, are they going to pay at the ballot box? They would if they can't. They will if they can't rig it. So now DeSantis in Florida has done a big gerrymander. I'm not sure all these gerrymanders are going to work because they're also going to dilute out these ruby red districts. And with the way the votes could swing, they may just end up losing more districts. It could backfire on MAGA to make them even get wiped out more.

Mark Hayes (03:27.371)
Okay.

Mark Hayes (03:35.594)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (03:56.601)
in September, but Trump's, you know, they're trying, they're every single day, they're working on some aspect of voter suppression or voter manipulation every day. So what do they have about another 180 days to roughly to the midterm? That's going to be 180 days of them full force fucking around with our elections because they know they can't even come close to winning a fair one.

Mark Hayes (04:12.804)
Absolutely.

Mark Hayes (04:24.509)
No, absolutely not. And that's the fear is that they're going to rig elections. But here's the issue, though. A new poll came out today, and Trump is underwater with everybody. Republican-leaning independents are at like 50%. And overall with independents, he's at like 25%. You've got to win independents. He's even down.

with no college white voters. So non-college white voters, that's it's jam right there. And they're not happy. That's Cormaga, correct. And without them, hey look, even Cormaga is paying 4.46 a gallon. Even Cormaga. Now, and then you look at it here in the Southern States where income is not keeping up with inflation and never has and never will.

Brock Ganeles (04:59.693)
Yeah, that's an amazing, that's the core, that's core MAGA.

Mark Hayes (05:22.002)
Right? They pay you in sunshine, Florida, Georgia, Texas, right? No incomes. Nobody tells you about the whole no income tax thing in Texas until you get there. And they say, yeah, you pay extra on everything else. know, Metro Dallas, one of the most expensive places right now for property, for home affordability. know, yeah, even Cormaga is getting hammered and they're pissed about it. So.

Brock Ganeles (05:44.68)
right.

Mark Hayes (05:50.974)
You know, I don't know what's going to happen with the straight of Ormose. It's something new every day. Magnus will tell you it's temporary. If it's temporary, why does it go up a dime a day? Right? We can't take that cost.

Brock Ganeles (06:07.993)
They're just like the tariffs were going to benefit us quote down the road, right? That was the year one that that was 2026 2025. Maggit chatter on tariffs that like, we had to take some short term pain for long term game. Manufacturing hasn't come back to the U.S. There hasn't been the gains that you're supposed to get from the tariffs. So that didn't work. The oh, we're taking short term pain here in energy markets because we're doing this

such an important effort of bombing Iran is just a way of deferring and diluting people into thinking things aren't so bad or, you know, stop, you know, basically the stop whining message. But people got to live. The other hidden quote, hidden, not so hidden inflation is that food prices are going up everywhere because that's true. That's trickling through. So now, I mean, these are the things people spend on every day. You can't get around.

Mark Hayes (06:51.601)
Right.

Mark Hayes (06:58.642)
Right.

Mark Hayes (07:04.404)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (07:05.901)
paying for gas and paying for food.

Mark Hayes (07:08.712)
Nope, not at all. There is no getting around it. And if you're not fortunate enough to live in the suburbs, you don't have many options. When you look at urban areas, take a look at how many fresh fruit and produce locations there are for you to shop at. The number is very small. Only in the gentrified areas are you seeing Whole Foods and

Brock Ganeles (07:33.059)
yeah there's nothing

Mark Hayes (07:37.319)
you know, your name brand supermarkets. Those only happen in the gentrified areas. You know, if you're still in one of those areas that hasn't begun to gentrify yet, first of all, how are you afforded? Right? Second of all, you know, you've got to travel, right? And that's making your life harder because the cost of travel is up, right? There are only a few major cities around the country that have, you know, train travel and subways and

Brock Ganeles (07:43.011)
Mm-hmm.

Mark Hayes (08:06.557)
You know, if you're in one of those cities, it's already as expensive as hell to live. So, you know, I mean, there aren't good options for the American people. And then you got Marjorie Taylor Greene today. Did you hear some of her comments? Talking about, you know, how the Oval Office became a revolving door for foreign entities. No shit, Sherlock. Those are the people that are padding this fool's bank account.

Tell us something we're not aware of. Tell us something we didn't know. You know, now Marjorie has proclaimed that MAGA is dead. She said that today. And she said it was destroyed by the CEO and founder of the movement. So what do you make of that? Is Marjorie Taylor dead?

Brock Ganeles (08:54.745)
Trump says he is MAGA. So is she right? Can MAGA be dead as long as Donald Trump is alive? When Trump basically says he is MAGA. So is he the dog or is he the tail getting wagged by the dog? I think Trump is the leader of MAGA. This version of a white supremacy movement. There have been many in US history. It's had its ebbs and flows. It's never gone away. This version...

Mark Hayes (09:20.562)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (09:22.005)
I think Trump is the leader of it. think MTG wishes that there was a MAGA movement of which Trump wasn't the leader. But unfortunately, I think he is. So in my mind, Trump is MAGA. What Trump says is MAGA doctrine. And it may get influenced by Fox News and a whole bunch of other things. But at the end of the day, what he says goes, is my opinion.

Mark Hayes (09:47.647)
Yeah. Yeah. Which is sad, you know, at this point, because, you know, there are reports today I saw on the I've Had It podcast where they were talking about the possibilities of a Trump medical emergency where he had to be rushed from Mar-a-Lago to a local dentist's office. And if you take a look at the Trumpster, I mean, he looked terrible at the correspondence dinner. He looked half in the bag.

You know, so, you know, Mr. Jell-O brain, not that I have anything against Jell-O, but it's probably the only thing he can choke down at this point. He does not look well. And, you know, we haven't gotten an annual physical that's been released, right? Here it is. He's on year two. Where's the physical? Supposed to have one every year. We normally get the I'm healthier than, you know.

But what does he normally say? He's healthier than the 20 year old, you know, so I'm surprised. You know they can't even fudge that at this point.

Brock Ganeles (10:54.359)
Yeah, they can't fly Ronnie Jackson back in to give us a whole bunch of bullshit. Look, this is one of those times where like, headline comes across that Trump's been, you know, rushed to a hospital or even the headline comes across that Trump keeled over at his desk in the Oval, would not be surprising, right? It's kind of like, he looks like death. He looks like a human being that is in significant decline and the signs are there.

Mark Hayes (10:57.414)
Right?

Mark Hayes (11:12.135)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (11:23.639)
that the end may be coming for him. I'm not saying that is wishful thinking, just that's what it looks like objectively. Like when you saw the news that Rudy Giuliani was in intensive care, were you surprised? No, he's looked like shit for years also, right? Yeah, absolutely not, right? So they're just at that point where it's almost like an inevitable and like, which day is it going to be? I mean,

Mark Hayes (11:37.478)
Absolutely not! Right!

Brock Ganeles (11:47.565)
probably not for today's podcast, but what's interesting and it gets back to Marjorie Taylor Greene's comment is like, okay, what does MAGA look like if Trump dies? I mean, JD Vance becomes president. He's not popular in the movement. He's backed by the tech bros, Peter Thiel and Musk and others, but like the guy's got no charisma, no following. And MAGA right now underneath Trump is split. There's got the anti, the America firsters who don't want to be overseas and in Iran. You got the

Mark Hayes (12:03.6)
Right.

Mark Hayes (12:11.118)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (12:16.505)
You know, the more mega cultists are like, Oh, Trump says we need to be there. You know, we're there. We're behind him. A hundred percent. You know, like they have a big reckoning to come when he does keel over. Can't happen soon enough, but you know, we're not there yet.

Mark Hayes (12:22.469)
Alright.

Mark Hayes (12:27.291)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (12:31.047)
Well, the interesting part is that he is probably not going to make it to 200, like Ronnie Jackson told us. It seems like a stretch right now at what, 79? Yeah, VC's 80. How about that on one of the prediction markets where the Trumps are making a whole lot of money? Let's put D-Day on there.

Brock Ganeles (12:50.257)
Yeah. I wonder if that's on there. I'd be curious to see where the, where the, you know, the, what is it like the knowledge of the crowd comes in and where that yeah, where that over and under where that line's being drawn.

Mark Hayes (12:56.327)
Be over and under. I'm drawing it pretty quickly.

Brock Ganeles (13:07.253)
I mean, I would bet against him lasting the full term.

Mark Hayes (13:11.771)
Yeah, with this kind of stress, with the stress that think about the stress. Well, you know, you, got to start your own war. Right. You gotta, you gotta, you gotta prolong your own war. That made no sense. You gotta answer for it. then you gotta worry about the Epstein files, you know, cause the craziest thing about the white house correspondence dinner was that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. Okay.

Brock Ganeles (13:14.541)
Yeah, just looking at the fights. Yeah.

Mark Hayes (13:41.006)
Now we're talking about a case. Janine Pirro is out talking about Cole Allen today. Did you see this? You know, the judge actually called for a hearing to find out how Cole Allen was being treated because he's very proactive about the conditions in the jail. And apparently they had him, you know, held in five point restraint in suicide watch. And the guy's not suicidal. So Janine Pirro came out with all this crap about, you know, yeah, he definitely fired the shot.

We're going to be able to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt that he wanted to kill President Trump, blah, blah, no psychotic break, blah, blah, blah, on and on and on. She laid out her whole case. So, you know, Trump's got assassination attempts to worry about, you know, the stress that's on this guy is not going to let him, you know, finish this term. There is no way there is no way. Most of it's self-inflicted.

Brock Ganeles (14:38.423)
Yeah. But meanwhile, getting back the early question again, which is relative to will he, will he pay for anything in the midterms? Cause let's assume he's going to make it till then, you know, we'll, we'll be optimistic on his, his outlook. We'll give him six more months to the midterms. mean, are women voters, I mean, you said he's underwater with everyone. Are women voters, white women voters, particularly cause we know the 92 % has already voted against them. Latino women voters.

Are they going to finally really, really punish Trump? I mean, they let him get away with the grab the pussy comments, 30 sexual assaults, child rape, repealing of Roe versus Wade, repealing as Roe versus Wade. And now abortion pills are in play as if like they're not going to stop. It's the classic, unless you punch them in the nose, they're not going to stop this Christian nationalist white supremacy movement.

Mark Hayes (15:18.757)
fraud.

Brock Ganeles (15:35.127)
Now they're trying to take away abortion pills from women. Really, they are literally trying to control your entire lives. At what point do women get fed up and that needle moves against them significantly with white and Latino women? Is that, do you see that on the horizon?

Mark Hayes (15:51.256)
Right.

Mark Hayes (15:56.229)
I mean, those are wild cards, Brock. I can't call it. This guy got a second term. How did he get a second term? I mean, he got a second term after sleeping with a porn star and cheating on his, while his wife was home with their newborn, like, okay, let me just say this. There's no good time to cheat on your wife. But can it get any worser? Can it get any worser than your wife being at home with your newborn?

and you're pursuing a porn star and her friend trying to run sexcapades while you're supposed to be in a golf tournament. I mean, come on. How does he get a second term? I mean, I don't know if those two groups are going to coalesce.

Brock Ganeles (16:41.889)
Yeah, meme.

Brock Ganeles (16:46.659)
We know, we know, we have our supposition, right? It's the racism trumps everything else in the minds of the voters. So those white women voters still want their proximity to power. And it's better than being anywhere else on the social hierarchy, but damn, they're losing a lot of rights and they're just, it doesn't end. It doesn't end with Roe v Wade. It's the next thing and that's taken away and controlled. And that's the same really for every group.

Mark Hayes (16:50.861)
Right.

Right.

Brock Ganeles (17:16.537)
but it just seems so stark and obvious going on with women. So they got like a stay, right? So now these abortion drugs are back legal again after being illegal maybe for what, 48 hours, but it just shows it's on the table, right? It's in project 2025 and it is an initiative that MAGA wants to make happen. And they'll always couch it with the, we got to throw it to the States, right? Something like that, right?

Mark Hayes (17:25.645)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (17:36.023)
Moving right along.

Mark Hayes (17:41.347)
Yep.

Mark Hayes (17:45.963)
Right, right, right.

Brock Ganeles (17:46.585)
they're taking it away it's just a change of the rights the same game they play with voting we don't need the federal government doesn't need to be in charge of this stuff let this let the states decide so I'm hoping I'm hoping women are fed up like you said the the anger in the black community has definitely you know boiled up here with the Voting Rights Act and I'm hoping that the anger is boiling up again with women when they see abortion pills

Mark Hayes (17:58.572)
Yeah.

Brock Ganeles (18:14.901)
attempted to be banned, you know, just about a year after Roe v Wade.

Mark Hayes (18:20.725)
Right. All right, we're running out of time. We got a whole bunch of quick hits. Go ahead with your first one.

Brock Ganeles (18:26.243)
The Met Gala is tonight. Talk about a hunger games like, let them eat cake. Let's have an ostentatious event while most of America can barely feed their families. I get it. It's a fundraiser for the museum and I'm positive on the arts, but we got some problems this year.

Mark Hayes (18:28.525)
happening tonight is huge.

Mark Hayes (18:33.591)
Hehehehe!

Mark Hayes (18:41.539)
Sure, sure.

Brock Ganeles (18:53.485)
because the sponsors, funders, are two of our favorite oligarchs, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos. And that's created perhaps some boycotts from some celebrities. But what's your take on the timing of the Met Gala and the pomp and circumstance?

Mark Hayes (19:00.01)
Uh-huh.

Mark Hayes (19:16.371)
Yeah, you know, most people don't even know what the Met Gala is for, what it is. All they know is you see these weird, crazy costumes and, you know, these celebrities spend a lot of money, right, getting all dolled up, you know, raising money for whatever charity. you know, why isn't, why isn't Bezos just cutting a phenomenal check to the charity? And who knows if Bezos and his wife

Second, what's his second or third wife? Who knows that they didn't pay to be the chairs? know, Lauren Santas told today, you know, that she was approached. You know, why? Look, the arts of all places are gonna be where you find the most liberal creatives, right? So.

Brock Ganeles (20:12.611)
Yeah, but also often taking money from whoever, right? The Sackler family with their fucking OxyContin, you know, funded, you know, had their name on all kinds of shit and all kinds of museums in New York also had to all be stripped down. But anyway, back to your point, sorry, I of cut you off there.

Mark Hayes (20:20.866)
right. There you go.

Mark Hayes (20:28.202)
Right. Right.

Yeah, yeah, but like when you look at your creatives, you're gonna see a lot of people that are showing up who don't agree with MAGA and don't agree with the Voting Rights Act. That's why you're getting a lot of white women in Hollywood that are speaking up, but they seem to be the minority voice when it comes to that crowd. You're gonna have a lot of black women there. You're gonna have hip hop stars, hip hop artists.

That doesn't automatically make them liberals. We've seen Kanye go off the deep end and into his who knows what his brain is doing. We don't know what's going on up there, but I guess that's why he's a musical genius. But nonetheless, know, the Matt Gaylor couldn't be, to answer your question, couldn't be timed worse, couldn't have a worse chair and co-chair. Two people, yeah.

Brock Ganeles (21:24.546)
Of

Brock Ganeles (21:29.145)
Couldn't be worse.

Mark Hayes (21:31.584)
Yeah, just, I mean, it couldn't get any uglier. Lauren Sanchez, you know, has been gold digging for the long, I mean, she got a baby by the Atlanta Falcons legendary, legendary tight end Tony Gonzalez. That's from years ago. And I mean, he didn't marry her. So, you know, hey, look, I don't know anything about his business and his relationship, but he's happily married now to another woman who is,

just a beautiful person. But I say that to say character may be lacking when it comes to Lauren Sanchez and we know it's lacking when it comes to Bezos.

Brock Ganeles (22:11.949)
Yeah, it's a problem. It's a problem. It's one of those things where once base is involved right now because he's cozied up the Trump so much and because he's so anti-labor the way Amazon treats their workers like shit. it makes it a MAGA tainted event. So to me it's MAGA tainted. Hey, Beyonce and Venus Williams are involved as a part of the co-chairs as well. And there are some supposed boycotts. No one is specifically said they're boycotting, but like there's some implications of some

Mark Hayes (22:20.735)
Right. Right.

Mark Hayes (22:26.655)
Yep.

Brock Ganeles (22:41.561)
surprising no shows, Zendaya is at the top of the list of no shows who goes every year but isn't going this year. So it's so poorly timed, it's such a bad look. It's, well just like we said, you can't take the politics out of sports. We talked about that on the pod on Friday. You can't take the politics out of fashion either or even out of the arts.

Mark Hayes (22:45.631)
Yeah. Yeah.

Mark Hayes (23:04.361)
Right. Or the arts. Or music.

Brock Ganeles (23:09.399)
You can't take the politics is everywhere. And unfortunately to me that the Met Gala has tainted because of Bezos are involved.

Mark Hayes (23:12.468)
It's everywhere!

Mark Hayes (23:16.927)
and Brock, just on this real point, on this point real quick, I know you wanna move on. Remember Public Enemy and Tort Righteous Teachers. know, musical artists who had political messages were all squelched in 1991, 92 in direct timing with the crime bill and the rising of private...

prisons and the prison industrial complex. All right, you got another one for me?

Brock Ganeles (23:51.353)
I do have another one for you. Okay, so I'm really, this one's gonna get a little more personal because I'm just really frustrated and I don't understand why we don't talk about this more in America at the cut in medical research that we allow doji and fucking RFK to run around and somehow we cut. We went from the greatest scientific country.

Mark Hayes (23:58.591)
Okay.

Brock Ganeles (24:20.277)
in the world on medical research, right? From from AIDS to COVID, we came up with all those fucking vaccines to what we've done that to to not cure, but quasi cure so many cancers that would have killed people over the years. And somehow in the doji cuts and only in Trump 2.0 idiocy that we cut, we couldn't find the money for that, right? We can find the money for wars.

Mark Hayes (24:22.314)
Yep. Yep.

Brock Ganeles (24:48.715)
We couldn't find the money for medical research. So now we're going to steps backwards and people are going to die of cancers that we could have cured. We saw this progress. We all benefited from it. Why we allowed it to be cut.

Mark Hayes (24:51.392)
Mm-hmm.

Mark Hayes (25:06.975)
Well...

Many people feel like they didn't have a choice. Many people were too busy to be bothered by it. Because remember, Brock, things like medical research don't impact you until somebody says, you know what? That program that probably could have saved your dad's life was cut. That research they were doing at the NIH, those trials, those have all been cut. That probably could have helped save your father's life or your mother's life. That's when people get upset about it. But now...

They feel, and when that happens, they feel like they're all alone. They're in a vacuum by themselves. But that same story is being told thousands of times over in every hospital in America, right? With somebody who's in critical care, right? But, you know, look, until we get back to the normal functions of government and people stop trying to, see, because the, I believe like the cuts in medical research,

are all based on this AI shit, right? We don't need to do research. AI can figure this out for us. And I'm thinking, why else would Elon Musk wanna cut medical research? Right? we, yeah. I mean, I don't know. I'm sure it's a, go ahead.

Brock Ganeles (26:22.605)
Yeah, it's in it for him. Yeah.

Brock Ganeles (26:32.337)
Biden had the cancer moonshot, right? His son died of cancer. We're going to put more into it. We've all seen, I mean, there's probably not a person in America who hasn't been touched by death because of cancer. probably has anyone who's over than 20 years old has in that 20 years has seen someone who's maybe prolonged their life or had a cancer that was cured during that period.

Mark Hayes (26:35.389)
Right?

Mark Hayes (26:45.183)
No!

Mark Hayes (26:57.012)
Boom.

Brock Ganeles (26:57.229)
that they would have died from in the 20 previous years. So we've all benefited from the research as well. It seemed like something pretty apolitical. MAGA and the libtards, we could all get together and agree on the fact that we all want to live longer and that, cancer sucks. And this medical research is really moving in the right direction. something, this is American excellence and American achievement on display. I just can't, I just don't understand how we let it cut. And it got personal because

On the one hand, while we were coming out to show, I was reading the fresh obituary of one of my college basketball teammates who died two days ago from ALS. And ALS is one of those diseases that we haven't found the cure for, but we always hoped in our lifetime, right? That it was gonna be cured, right? We had that, water challenge and all the cold water challenge and all the money that was poured in, they, you know, they're...

Mark Hayes (27:38.974)
Start

Brock Ganeles (27:56.547)
They're trialing a lot of drugs. One of them just may fucking work someday. Right? But if we're cutting research and development, it's less likely to be solved in our lifetime. So I'm saddened today because it touched my life. Peter Alberding, great guy, great player. Renaissance man, passed away. know, know, top scorer on my team when I played. And then, you know,

Mark Hayes (28:01.649)
You know it.

Mark Hayes (28:17.156)
Sorry to hear that,

On the other hand, I have a friend who's like had a really tough cancer that we know really well, you know, who I played ball with yesterday. And I'm like, damn, I want fucking money thrown in cancer research because he's got a tough one that they haven't totally solved yet, but they're making headway and their people are living longer with it. And know, and everyone who has it is told, hang in there, hang in there, hang in there until they find a cure.

Mark Hayes (28:39.806)
Right.

Mark Hayes (28:48.125)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (28:49.891)
But if we're fucking research, that last part of the sentence is less likely. And what are we doing as America? Why have we decided we're going to step away and not be the world leaders in medical research? I can't come to an explanation that makes sense.

Mark Hayes (29:06.45)
Yeah, again, and I know I harp on this Brock, but it's the lack of a global view by the MAGA core. Right there. Their view is of their zip code and as far as their hate can see. I got one for you. Speaking of white women, Sherry DeVoe, first female trainer to win the Derby, Kentucky Derby over the weekend. It was a big weekend for her and.

that horse was golden tempo was a 23 to one long shot. So congratulations to her. And you know, it never even dawned on me, you know, that there hadn't been a female trainer to win it. So that's a big deal. It shows that women are making strides in every industry and in every sport. So I'm glad to see that. I'm glad to see that she bulldozed her way in there some kind of way.

And good for Golden Temple for getting her done.

Brock Ganeles (30:07.993)
Yeah, actually I watched it. It was actually a great race and I'm with you. Two things that came that I noticed out of Kentucky Derby really, first of it's a great race. The horse came from way back to win, right? So it was exciting. Second of all, the way the two jockeys congratulated each other right at the finish line. And I was like, wow, that's some phenomenal sportsmanship. That guy just lost by a nose and he's immediately congratulating the winner. Turns out they were brothers.

Mark Hayes (30:10.844)
Yeah.

Mark Hayes (30:20.349)
You're right.

Mark Hayes (30:35.769)
wow! I didn't know, I missed that!

Brock Ganeles (30:36.825)
Yeah, the number one and two horses were brothers. Yeah, and that's why he was so quick to congratulate his brother who had just beaten him by like, and then the part that there was the woman trainer. And I'm sure it's not a job where whatever your physical, how fast you run the 40 in matters, right? It's sort of a job that doesn't matter what gender you are or nationality or anything, right? It's you and the horse.

Mark Hayes (30:40.305)
Right.

Mark Hayes (30:58.939)
Right?

Mark Hayes (31:02.801)
Right.

Brock Ganeles (31:02.809)
But I'm sure obviously sexism has not given many opportunities to women over the years. Like you said, somehow this woman, you know, shoehorned, she aimed her way in there and hopefully she's a trailblazer and it opens, you know, opens the opportunities up for others.

Mark Hayes (31:08.752)
There you go.

Mark Hayes (31:21.902)
And Brock, of course, you know, the money is, you know, a roadblock to entry. You know, it's expensive to train a horse and to keep a horse. Man, I mean, good gracious.

Brock Ganeles (31:39.961)
Well, men have the wealth, the men buy the horses, and then the men hire male trainers, right? It's sexism and racism. That's why there's no WNBA coaches that are black, right? It's that same topic. it kind of takes one to work their way in there, I guess, for change to happen. I wonder if she gets paid out 74 cents on the dollar, they give her the full, does she get the full purse?

Mark Hayes (31:44.251)
Yep. Right?

See ya.

Right. Yep.

Mark Hayes (32:03.6)
Get the full female treatment. Jeez. You never know.

Brock Ganeles (32:08.163)
Sorry women for taking that shot. But going back to women, I would like to see you riled up a little bit more about the way MAGA is trying to take away your bodily autonomy yet again in Q2-20, again in Q2-26. All right, that's all I had for the Mark.

Mark Hayes (32:20.218)
YAY!

Yep. Hey. Okay, one last one. The legendary voice of the New York Yankees, New York football giants, John Sterling passes away. I'll never forget the first time I heard his voice. I fell in love with it. It was at a Giants football game at Yankee Stadium. He was talking about preseason game and Doug Cotah was deep to catch the kickoff and

His voice was unlike any other in any other stadium that I've been to. I always listen to the stadium announcers after getting spoiled by his voice and his mastery. Yeah, he was really good.

Brock Ganeles (33:05.942)
Yeah, he was good. Sterling was, he did like New Jersey Nets games on the radio when we were little kids. Like he was, he was on the air for like 70 years. Great career. Yeah. Well, you know, we'll miss him, right? Everyone's time comes, but it's, know, he did us right. For us sports fans, he was a good one.

Mark Hayes (33:11.493)
Yeah!

Mark Hayes (33:19.344)
Yeah, man.

Mark Hayes (33:26.8)
No doubt, no doubt. All right, buddy, that's it for me. Happy Monday. Glad to see you made it through the tournament yesterday in one piece. All right, buddy. See you soon. Revolution.

Brock Ganeles (33:32.171)
All right, Thank you.

All right, Mark. Always a pleasure. Talk to you tomorrow.
